Pack Trip to Carson Iceberg Wilderness - August 2011
A wonderful time was had by all with ample grass and water for the horses and beautiful riding and camping for the people. We had 13 animals, 6 of which were pack animals, needless to say this group of 8 people had plenty of comforts from home including ice in the ice chests! The scenery in the Carson Iceberg is truly spectacular!
Our Springtime 2010 Trail Preparedness Clinics were two fun days of groundwork and theory, and a variety of obstacles! We enjoyed meeting quite a number of new horses and riders, and getting to catch up with old friends and students too. Thank you to all who came to ride, audit, or help out!

Marble Mountains Pack Trip - July 2010
Our July pack trip to the beautiful Marble Mountains Wilderness in Northern California was absolutely a blast. We had four riders and our two pack mules and a good time was had by all. We caught fish, saw deer, and bear, wildflowers and some truly beautiful country. There was still drifts of snow at elevations above 6000 feet and the rivers were running full! We are already gearing up for our September pack trip.
Emigrant Wilderness Pack Trip - September 2010
We enjoyed 6 glorious days in the Emigrant Wilderness, which is truly beautiful but rugged country. There are so many alpine lakes and lots of granite!! We remained between 7500 and 8500 feet in elevation and also had fun fishing, hiking and rock climbing! We are looking forward to pack season next year!
