VS Equine is based out of Garrison Ranch in Windsor (Sonoma County), Northern California.
We offer a comprehensive lesson and training program. Our focus is on helping you and your horse attain your goals. We teach proper horsemanship skills from the ground up, or for any situation, on the trail, or in the arena. We have a common sense approach for any level of rider and for any age or breed of horse. If it is trail knowledge or experience that you seek, We have a very comprehensive program for that as well, including instruction on the trail and also wilderness horsemanship and preparedness. Training for specific competitive events also available, as well as sensory training or clinics.
Call for lesson availability, as We are accepting new students only on a limited basis. It is recommended that a student arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the lesson in order to allow for enough time to properly tack and groom and warm up their horse, so the lessons will begin on time. Boots and other riding apparel or tack are the responsibility of the students. All lessons will teach you how to better communicate with the horse and to be an effective rider as well as fine tune your position, seat, balance and aids. Above all we really want you to have fun with your horse and develop a willing partnership.

Training Rates:
A $10.00 trailer-in fee is required by Garrison Ranch for horses not boarded at the stable.
5 days training - $510.00 (limited basis only)
4 days training - $450.00
3 days training - $395.00
2 days training - $320.00
We will work with any breed of horse, and we like to work with you in a joint effort to accomplish your training needs. The age of the horse is irrelevant, whether you are wanting impeccable ground manners, help with trailering, sensory training or training for any phase of competition at any level, we are there for you.
Board Rates at Garrison Ranch:
$375.00 per month or $13.00 per day
Trailer in fee is $10.00 per horse, payable the day you come in. Garrison Ranch has a small indoor and a large outdoor arena.

Competition prices and horse show schooling fees may vary depending on location and number of students or horses attending, please call for a quote.
Mileage/Hauling $.70 per mile.
(Short Hauls - the price may vary depending on the situation - Call for quote). This service is only available to students or training clients and not to the public.
Finders Fee or Commissions from sale horses - $450.00 minimum, plus any expenses, or 10% of either the selling or purchase price.
Riding Clinics/Packing Clinics - Prices vary, so call for quote.
